What is the origin story behind BattleCity? Why does the team want to start Battlecity?
=> BattleCity.io is established based on the orientations of our C-Executives that bring blockchain technology to:
(1) build a sustainable ecosystem (BattleCity’s ecosystem) to support game-builders (including game studios or individual game developers) to transform their games into GameFi projects, and,
(2) provide an NFT to support game-players to be able to play and earn via multiple WOL Games, and participate and trade NFTs in player-owned economies via network governance and consensus.

How is the project funded? Are there any prominent VCs/investors/funds that people know of?
=> We've finished the Seed and Private Sale rounds so far. We're planning an IDO with a "secret exchange" that will be confirmed soon. Let's anticipate these special events.

What is BattleCity in a nutshell? Can you explain the different parts of the ecosystem, like the relationship between BattleCity and World of Legends Games (WOL Games)?
=> BattleCity is a web3-gaming (esports web3.0) project that creates World of Legends Games, including MU of Heroes, Legends of Tank, and more by blockchain technology constituting for everyone can joy and contribute to BattleCity’s ecosystem, excited and be together with, as our vision: [PLAY for JOY] - [EARN for FUN] – [OWN for REAL] = (“Play To Earn”) for all game-players around the world.
What is the business model of BattleCity? What are the revenue streams?
=> We have a completely different business model than most other P2E models.
Players with high skill will be rewarded more than the rest of the BattleCity players, and we only take a small percentage of each match as revenue. (While in PVP mode). Furthermore, to ensure safety, 80% of the revenue from the sale of NFT will be put into the reward pool for P2E mode players. (When using P2E mode)
Can you share with us more about the WOL Innovative Tech Venture Fund? How do you incentivize external game developers/studios to build on your platform? Can you give some examples of the kind of help you can provide for them?
=> Our WOL Innovative Tech Venture Fund will support and fund game-builders (including game studios or individual game developers) to keep the innovation and make their GameFi projects become the subsequent rise(s) in the game industry.

Usually, NFT games suffer from inflation in the game economy due to bot farming. Are there any measures to prevent that from happening?
=> Yes, we've discovered that quite a few NFT games have this issue, the majority of which have "click to earn" gameplay - with this simple gameplay, bots can easily cheat.
Our game at BattleCity is a real-time PvP game, and the gameplay is difficult for bots to simulate and cheat (PvP mode). Also, our algorithm (in development) can support us to investigate the abnormal activity of players so our game moderators can review and figure out the bots. We also require four players for each Farming Match, especially in P2E mode. If a bot is suspected, the system will activate a special captcha warning code and prompt the user to enter it for verification.
Is there any lag in the game due to blockchain congestion? Are there any measures taken to alleviate such problems?
=> We develop a scalable, security, anti-DDoS protection and high availability infrastructure that can reduce the risks of lag due to blockchain congestion. Also, we develop monitoring services to track network congestion to find a solution proactively. We also apply the full CNCF (Cloud Native Computing Foundation) technology and on-chain/off-chain on-demand for reduced gas fees and scaling.
Furthermore, our Game is a "hybrid game," which means that the Game section and the on-chain asset management section are separate; in-game assets will be updated to the blockchain later. As a result, players manage their own assets and interact with the blockchain, ensuring that there is no lag. Besides that, the game server is a photon cloud, so locate it globally to assist us in resolving game lag.
Will there be any scholarships (similar to Axie Infinity or Pegasus) available for investors to rent out game assets to scholars in return for a cut of the income?
=> No, we don’t have scholarships in our WOL games (for now)
In the near future, we will be looking for reputable gaming communities and game guilds to award scholarships to them in order to make WOL Games (including Legends of Tank and MU of Heroes Games) more accessible to more players.

=> Earning Arena/P2E mode is a place for players to practice, and earn a small amount of reward before joining a real and fierce arena, dramatic, and, of course, more loot at the Battle Arena.
How much can a top-tier player expect to earn playing this game?
=> For our development phase, we've demonstrated at various AMAs throughout our product-building journey and also our whitepaper mentions our strategy, which doesn’t focus on building a "financial model" where anyone can get a huge ROI.
We are developing our WOL games that prioritise gameplay and players’ experience; highly skilled players will receive greater rewards. As you are aware, players' abilities are limitless, as are the rewards they receive for their abilities.
Whenever players kill an enemy, a random item is generated. How do you ensure the randomness of the item? Is Chainlink VRF used to generate the item?
=> We developed an algorithm to generate random items based on players’ levels, winning ratios, etc. which will improve their efforts putting in the games and eventually increase their time spent in the BattleCity ecosystem.
What is the process for upgrading your tank? Are there any benefits to upgrading and what sort of resources are needed?
=> Players can upgrade their existing tank attributes and ranks to increase mining performance if they have 2 or more tanks of the same type and rank. Tanks after upgrading will be increased by 6 attributes. Read more here.
How do collaborations with other GameFi projects work (e.g. SolTanks and Legends of Tank)? Can assets from one game be used in the other game?
=> In the future, we hope to expand our collaboration with many different games and have the assets of Legends of Tank, MU of Heroes, and other WOL Games appear in the games of our partners, and vice versa.

How a person can earn them in the games
=> World of Legends (WOL) is the governance token used in the BattleCity.io NFT Platform. WOL is currently based on the Binance Smart Chain blockchain and conforms to the BEP-20 standard. WOL is a security token that will be used as the medium of exchange between participants in the BattleCity.io ecosystem.
KEN is the in-game currency - the fuel for BattleCity.io games' internal economies, which can be used for purchasing in-game items and tickets for arenas, upgrading weapons, and earning by playing the game, especially by winning battles. KEN is a utility token (in-game token) which is the off-chain token in BattleCity's ecosystem. Players will earn KEN through in-game activities of WOL Games (MU of Heroes, Legends of Tank...).
KEN will be converted to WOL (governance token) according to a coefficient that is publicly and continuously updated by BattleCity.
WOL Holders and Players can earn WOL & KEN through trading on CEX or directly participating in WOL Games to collect WOL & KEN.

Games created by BattleCity are available on Solana, Binance Smart Chain, and Polygon. How do you prevent liquidity fragmentation of the WOL and KEN tokens across multiple chains?
=> Our WOL token is multi-chain, rather than cross-chain. We separate three WOL pools so that the price difference is unaffected. And BattleCity will run each chain in sequence at the appropriate time, then cross-chain later.
To be more specific, we apply the following strategies:
Applied Multi-chain and separate pools for each chain for running in sequence. Cross-chain atomic swap will be applied soon.
