Infinity Skies - Analysis of ISKY Transactions
Infinity Skies is an upcoming sandbox game on Polygon Network. On January 13, 2022, the Skyblock token (ISKY) was launched. This ERC-20 token serves as the primary currency used in and around the Infinity Skies ecosystem.
It is now March 2022. How has the token performed over the past 2 months? Let’s find out!
In this article, we will be looking at ISKY transactions for any delicious alpha. 👀
January was a bountiful month for ISKY transactions, hitting a whopping record of 17,000 transactions. Like any newly launched token, ISKY attracted the attention of traders, speculators, and the wider crypto community. By February, fervor had decreased significantly. March is looking good. We are 1/3 through March and transaction volume is almost catching up to February’s performance (at the time of writing this article). Land sales will be coming up soon and well-informed community members might be acquiring their ISKY for cheap to participate in it.
Which day (or days) is good for trading ISKY tokens?
At face value, Thursday seems to be the ideal day to trade ISKY tokens. The next question to ask is why. What’s so special about Thursday? Let’s lay another filter over the day. How about Day and Month?
Ah! The Thursday effect only applies to January. This coincided with the launch of ISKY on January 13, 2022, which was a Thursday. Excluding January as an outlier month, Tuesdays to Thursdays are generally a good time to trade ISKY. In contrast, the ISKY market is exceptionally quiet from Saturdays to Mondays. So, traders, you now know when you should trade your ISKY tokens.
What can we learn about the traders trading ISKY?
Over the past 30 days, the majority of ISKY transactions ranged from 0 - 1000. These are your small retail investors. Larger players (with larger amounts of ISKY) do not trade as frequently as their smaller counterparts.
That’s all for today.
